About

Bertrand Gillig Gallery, formerly Espace G, is focused on contemporary art. It was created in 2004 by Bertrand Gillig.

It is located in an elegant building from late XIXth century where it occupies a flat on the 1st floor, with high ceilings and parquet.

The programming concerns Painting, Drawing and Photography by emerging artists coming for two thirds of France. All the artists have an international course and expose regularly in Europe and in the United States.

The leading themes promoted by the gallery are: the relationship to architecture, urban or natural landscape, the alteration of the things and elements by passing time and the notion of abandonment (Abandoned spaces, latent states and ambiguousness).

The gallery participates in several contemporary art fairs :  Bienvenue Paris 2019, Luxembourg Art Week 2019-2018-2017-2016, St-Art 2017 - AAF Bruxelles 2017, St-Art 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, Scope Basel 2016, AAF Bruxelles 2016, Scope Basel 2015, Scope New-York 2014 - Art Copenhague 2013 - Slick Bruxelles 2013 - Art Paris 2012 - St-Art 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008 - Scope Basel 2011 - AAF New-York 2011 - Docks Art Fair Lyon 2011 - Slick Paris 2009 - Slick Dessin 2009 - AAF Bruxelles 2009, 2010, 2012 - AAF Paris 2009.
